1. Q: Why not use Green Waste? I've heard that if you compost it well…. it kills any contaminants.
   A: We've heard the same thing from competitors. Unfortunately, it isn't always the case. It's been our experience that "Green Waste" potentially can contain everything from nails and wire to weeds. And, although it's a cheaper way of creating landscape material, the results vary from poor to mediocre. We're in the business of providing the best growing media available. So for us, it's not an option.

    
   

2. Q: Is Organic better than your regular Garden Soil?
   A: It's really about personal preference and lifestyle. Both were designed to grow with maximum efficiency and are essentially equal in results. Other than ingredients and price, there is very little difference in growing punch.

    
   

3. Q: What is the sand content in your soil? And why?
   A: Our regular garden soil has 15% low silt sand. Our Lawn & Turf Blend has 45%. The Organic Garden contains 10%, and the OSE has none. We have found through extensive growing trials that these individual amounts provide the best drainage and support fertility and structure.
